To give classes to groups and put them on Youtube is just by way of introduction. As the application of the teachings in life must be adapted to the student, the true teaching is personal.
Personal coaching means to discover together the path that suits the personal desires, needs, abilities and duties of the student. It does not matter whether you just want some practical advise on personal issues or seek to enhance your already deep meditation practice. It is also not about only sticking to one teacher - you can have as many as you want. It is about finding together certain spiritual practices that make growth more easy, assuring that no steps are skipped in the process so that the transformation is durable. Anyhow, without your cooperation nothing can happen, so you are always the one to decide. I can only act as a mirror.
Also in terms of how often you want to connect and when, you are entirely free. Who knows, one session may give you enough opportunity for change to last a year. Or you might find a more regular connection really valuable in your life, and book that in the online agenda. Or you might find nothing specific of value to you, which is entirely possible and acceptable. This is all about You.
I cannot promise what such more personal coaching might bring you. I can promise to be there for you. Whatever understanding, experience or energy I have to help you on your path, is at your service. I especially hope to help people find more happiness, healing and deeper meditation.
Peter.
Fortunately, modern communication technologies provide the means to also have a more personal relationship with my students worldwide. Especially video calls through skype, whatsapp, facebook, etc... can allow us to communicate in a personal way that somewhat approaches the old-school one-on-one approach.
For those living sufficiently nearby the city of Gent where I live, a meeting can be arranged. Also foreign students have visited me in Belgium before, usually when anyhow visiting Europe. Contact me by phone at +32 475 73 32 78, or through my Facebook page.

These coaching programs organize long-term teaching. They are aimed at students that are seeking to strongly improve their practice and state of being. By nature, this includes daily practices and particular sadhanas. A step by step process leads the students to profound changes in their personality, supported by deeper meditation experiences. Everything is tailor-made to fit the student and mutually agreed upon. These programs include regular video calls as needed, as well as a free package for exchanges by email or chat. Students can be admitted to these programs only after attending at least a first coaching session as described above.
Fee : to be individually determined - for a fixed number of sessions that can be booked anytime as it suits.
📅 Booking : please contact me through my Facebook Page.
These originally Tantric fire rituals (called Yajna, Homa or Havana) are meant to connect a person to a specific mantra, supporting the ability to concentrate on and relax through the mantra. Concentration on one mantra is a well-tried technique to learn meditation and in the vedic and tantric traditions fire rituals are used to start and end a specific meditation period. This kind of fire ritual is not meant to give access to a particular groep or bind you to a particular belief or guru. It does not concern the giving of any "personal" mantra. Rather we chose a mantra suitable for the person and for learning how to meditate, like many of the mantras available on this website. Performing a fire ritual is not a necessity to learn how to meditate. It just gives energetic help to those that really want to learn how to meditate, but have difficulty in reaching deeper stages of meditation or in establishing regular meditation practice. The fire ritual happens together or from a distance. Afterwards the one receiving the energy starts a specific sadhana - a meditation sequence mutually agreed upon. Such need might be discovered during any of the other coaching sessions, so at least a first coaching session must be held before such fire ritual can be decided upon.
Fee : to be individually determined.
📅 Booking : through an introductory or follow-up session
The old school yoga teaching mostly happened in a one-on-one relationship between teacher and student. This way, the teaching could be fully adapted to the personal needs, abilities and Dharma of the student. The teacher would act as a mirror, allowing the student to see more clearly where there is need and room for personal growth. Traditionally, this process would take many years, during which the student would live at the Gurukul, the house of the teacher. Most teachers would guide only one or a few students in this highly personal fashion and they would earn their keep at the Gurukul by helping out in the household or on the farm attached to the house. While I still have hope to be able one day to provide that kind of great service to Sanatan Dharm, today this is not possible and fortunately today there are also other ways available - see above...
Leela is the ancient vedic name for the theater of life. Life in all its forms is an illusion behind which we can find the ultimate truth of pure Being. Yet life is also a divine theater, a spiritual game played by us, the actors. Yoga allows us to hold on to the bliss of truth while playing the game. And also this yoga is a game, which we can only take seriously if we do not take ourselves and this game too seriously. That is the meaning of Leela Yoga, nothing more, nothing less. So, Leela Yoga is a vision on yoga and also a name for a simple organisation that allows me to bring this vision into practice... more about Leela Yoga & Peter Marchand

in sweet memory of Harish Johari |
As the destination is the same for all, it is easy to make the error of assuming that the path must be just as universal.
The attachment that happens in the pursuit of happiness is the main source of unhappiness.
Don't think of going somewhere, because this somewhere will come along with you wherever you go, as you are already there.
Yoga requires unity between enjoyment and suffering, between bhoga and yoga, even between attachment and detachment.
How can anyone be "good" without a choice between good and bad?
While the mind creates the illusion of the universe through the senses, the intellect creates the illusion of understanding it.
When our day has been entirely ego-centered, then our meditation will probably have similar poor quality.
When the focus on the self is held strongly enough, the flow of kundalini energy happens on its own, naturally.
Tiptoe inside, don't make a sound, don't scare away that which cannot be found.
Enlightenment is nothing more or less than the final level of the game of life.
